The first meeting of the “Entrepreneurial mindset development within youth sector’’ (ENT-MIND) has been successfully organised in Rigas during the last days of September and intense work of the project has begun. A yearlong project will be lead by South-Eastern University of Applied Sciences from Finland in cooperation with Social innovation centre and Latvijas Jauno uzņēmēju centrs “Jobs&Society” from Latvia, Inovacijų biuras from Lithuania and Nordic Association for Social Innovation from Sweden.
The project aims to research entrepreneurial mindset support and culture among young people in Baltic Sea Region countries and propose main project idea with new methodologies related to entrepreneurial mindset with relevant tools. The ENT-MIND project is financed by Seed Money Facility aligning with the top priorities of EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.
Planned outcomes of the ENT-MIND project are:
- state of the art report about entrepreneurial mindset support instruments in the Baltic Sea Region, namely educational support programs, projects and youth opinions;
- main project plan – creation of the project plan with main ideas to be transformed into the work packages;
- future funding possibilities.
The main idea of the project is to understand mindset of the youth, which drives them to be entrepreneurially oriented.
