Meeting representatives of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.olaine.lv\/lv\">Municipality of Olaine<\/a>\u00a0it was possible to see the active involvement of youth, but lacking overall knowledge of social entrepreneurship (or interest to be involved in any type of entrepreneurship at all). The meeting in the EU House gathered a more diverse group of people, and therefore conversation leaned towards the outcomes themselves \u2013 how to use them more efficiently and how to make youth interested in social entrepreneurship training as a useful skillset development tool in general. And the last, but not least \u2013 the meeting in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visc.gov.lv\/en\">National Centre for Education of Latvia<\/a>\u00a0gave an irreplaceable perspective on the shortcomings of the current formal educational system regarding social entrepreneurship, but even more so \u2013 the lack of methodical materials for teachers about this topic.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7757 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-500x375.jpg 500w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-800x600.jpg 800w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-1280x960.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-1920x1440.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/riga-2-2.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The most common conclusions from all the meetings are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>social entrepreneurship should be used more as a tool to develop skills and attitudes of youth<\/li>\n<li>formal as well as informal education fields lack quality materials for offering efficient education on this topic (or it has not reached the audiences \u2013 people working with youth)<\/li>\n<li>educators in formal education have very little knowledge about social entrepreneurship, and so does youth. Promoting the concept itself would be a great way to promote the involvement of youth!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All in all, the events proved to be a great inspiration for all the participants. Everyone was motivated to look into opportunities that our offered approaches might bring, as well as the potential collaboration opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ABOUT THE PROJECT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4183 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/indigise-logo-200x200-1.jpeg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 139px) 100vw, 139px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/indigise-logo-200x200-1.jpeg 200w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/indigise-logo-200x200-1-150x150.jpeg 150w\" alt=\"\" width=\"116\" height=\"116\" \/>InDigiSE<\/strong>\u00a0aims at delivery of youth-oriented, innovative educational tools to develop the entrepreneurial competence in the field of social economy and engage youth within social entrepreneurship. It started on April 1st 2020 and will be finalized on 30th June 2022. In this final stage of the project the created outcomes (guidelines, handbook and Youth section of webpage) are brought to the potential beneficiaries, and disseminated across the field of youth work, but very soon the activities will cease and partners will get on to evaluating the great impact of these outcomes.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4122 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/download-300x61.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/download-300x61.png 300w, https:\/\/socialinnovation.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/download.png 496w\" alt=\"erasmus+\" width=\"300\" height=\"61\" \/>The publication has been developed under the INDIGISE project funded by Erasmus+ programme.
