AI-assisted analytical prototypes
These experimental tools illustrate how AI-assisted analytical interfaces could support research and public understanding of complex topics. The prototypes combine discourse monitoring, thematic mapping, and evidence-based comparison to demonstrate how emerging technologies can help identify patterns in public discussion, highlight dominant narratives, and assess the relationship between scientific evidence and public visibility.
Discourse Radar
The SIC Discourse Radar is a prototype visual tool that shows which dimensions dominate public discussion around a selected theme. Instead of measuring tone only, it maps the relative intensity of narratives such as health, care, participation, technology, isolation, and trust. In a real implementation, this kind of tool could help identify which issues are most visible, under-discussed, or becoming more prominent across public discourse.

Sentiment Tracker
The Sentiment Tracker is a prototype interface for monitoring how selected public topics are discussed across digital environments. It is designed to simulate the type of signals that can be extracted from public discourse analysis, including positive, neutral, and negative sentiment, changes over time, source distribution, and shifts in dominant narrative patterns. In a full implementation, such a system could combine data from public comments, forums, social media, and media texts to detect emerging attitudes, communication risks, and differences between regions, platforms, or themes.

Longevity Index Dashboard
Longevity Index Dashboard is a prototype data visualisation tool developed by the Social Innovation Centre of Latvia that translates complex healthspan data into a clear, accessible public dashboard. It combines five dimensions — physical activity, nutrition, social connection, sleep quality, and environment — into a single composite score for Latvia.

This is a live prototype developed by the Social Innovation Centre of Latvia as part of our Healthy Ageing research programme. Data shown is illustrative and based on aggregated public health sources. We are testing approaches to making complex healthspan data legible and actionable for citizens, municipalities, and policymakers. Your feedback shapes what we build next.
Evidence vs Hype Matrix
The Evidence vs Hype Matrix is a prototype analytical widget that places selected interventions into a 2D matrix: (1) horizontal axis: strength of evidence; (2)vertical axis: level of public hype / visibility. This helps show where scientific support and public attention are aligned — and where marketing, visibility, or discussion significantly outpace evidence. In a real SIC system, this type of tool could support evidence-informed communication, public education, and intervention prioritisation.
